PYD: Turkish fascism wants a Kurdish without will

In Saturday, February 22 -2020, the Democratic Union Party (PYD) issued a statement to the public, regarding the recent meeting between the ENKS and the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mevlüt Çavuş oglu, which aims to destroy the efforts made by the Democratic Autonomy Department regarding Unified the Kurdish position in Syria.

text of the statement read:

“Turkish Fascism is hostile to the Kurds at all levels. It wants a Kurdish without will. He does not have the means and means of legitimate defense of himself, subjugating the policies of the genocide pursued by the Turkish regime.

It has become obvious to both far and near, that Turkish fascism is ready to concede to all the conflicting parties over Syria, in order to prevent the Kurdish people from gaining any natural democratic right, and to torpedo all the efforts of Kurdish-Kurdish rapprochement made in northeastern Syria, this meeting is an attempt to gain time to implement The policies of demographic change in the Kurdish areas as quickly as possible to make it a fait accompli and legitimate project through the Kurdish National Council, which rejects the initiative submitted by the Democratic Autonomy Department, and the commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi.

We in the Democratic Union Party see that this meeting is not in the interest of our people and aims to blow up the Kurdish initiative in northeastern Syria, and we confirm that the Kurdish people have become aware of what they have and what it is at a time when the goals of the Turkish regime have become obvious towards Syria in general.

Today we desperately need a unified and frank stance against the fascist Turkish occupation of some of our regions, but dealing with this occupation in this way only serves its policies that are based on the logic ” policy of “divide and rule”.

It is obvious that the situation in Syria will not stabilize without the removal of Turkish threats and the end of its occupation of all regions in northern and eastern Syria.

From this standpoint, we call on our people to be vigilant towards the intrigues and conspiracies being hatched against it by the fascist Turkish regime, and to work for its unity through the struggle together to liberate our occupied territories, and work to guarantee the rights of our people in a future Syria.
