We will not give up On our goal in building a democratic Syria for all its people

The Syrian regime, as a central system, has produced oppression and tyranny, and is considered to be the first responsible for the violence and destruction that resulted in the conditions in Syria, and until the situation stabilizes, it shows the need for change and democratic transformation in the political system, and openness to the Syrian society as a whole; and this is represented by Syria being a state Democratic decentralization; it represents the will of the people of Syria. The intolerance of the authoritarian regime as a nation-state, and its pursuit of the policy of one-party, one-nation, one-culture and one-language, the suppression of all democratic social, political and cultural movements, and the perpetration of massacres and the bombing of cities and towns, led to a worsening of the situation and devoted more and more to internal bottlenecks in Syria, and this increased societal dynamic Politically, socially and culturally.

Syria is also unable to catch up with the period and overcome the ordeal of its current traditional Baathist system, so the tasks of rebuilding, making political, social and economic transformations have become vital for the system and society, opening the way to freedom of thought and expression, the development of democratic social and political forces, and various organizations of society Civilian. And that is by agreeing to move to a democratic state that respects human rights.

The option of democratization is the best way for society and order, and all the Syrian parties involved in the current conflict, alike, to save what can be saved from the “tsunami” of destruction and extremism that has befallen the country. In this context, the opportunity must be given to rebuilding the democratic and political societal forces of all segments of society, in order to gain awareness of their democratic political values, and this is a big topic in itself but it is sacred and noble, and at the same time it is absolutely inevitable to get rid of the concept of exile the other and transcend it.

The theory of the annihilation of the other is contrary to the dialectics of nature and the order of the universe and human society as well. The wrong theory will inevitably lead to wrong results. The theory of annihilation of the other will lead to the radicalization of the culture of ending and annihilating the coming authority before it, and developing the culture of military and political coups that result in a decline in the participation of the masses and society In politics and administration, they make them a profession and a king confined to the elites, the military, and the monopoly. The prevention of this is linked to the development of a democratic organization of society, the consolidation of a culture based on moral society and democratic politics that opens the way for multiculturalism and democratic politics.

Therefore, Decentralized democratic political system imposes itself as a pattern of organization expressing the essence of society for integration, mutual support and free unification, and thus development in the right direction, and the emergence of administrations of democratic regions, where society organizes itself from the bottom up, starting with the election of democratic communes in villages, neighborhoods and cities that have an administration initiative. Itself organizing its internal affairs and with its neighbors, heading towards democratizing local administrations, municipalities and city councils, through the freedom of voting and expression, and the involvement of all organizations and parties therein freely, and linking these formations to each other,  which will take the form and content different from the structure of current and nature through the acquisition of legitimacy by democratic means, while coming  change the country’s constitution as a necessity to support these changes.

So in the absence of a new democratic constitution, chaos will continue, and the crisis will last, the best is a democratic constitution in which everyone participates, and the Kurdish issue within it is solved as a national democratic issue.

The democratic transition needs to accept the principle of negotiation and dialogue between the components of the people of Syria. Which requires a democratic constitution and a common homeland away from chauvinist nationalism, as well as coexistence between the components of society, including Kurds, Arabs, Syrians, Assyrians, Turkmen, Circassians and Armenians, and others.
