PYD Meets its Members in Qamishlo

To assess the latest organizational developments, on Saturday, PYD met with its members in Tubo district of Qamishlo Canton.

The meeting started by holding a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs of freedom then, a member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, Abdul Hadi Ahmad, assessed the political situation.

Ahmed also condemned Turkey’s threats to the region, and stressed the need for the return of Afrin to its real people who live in al-Shahba.

Ahmed said that Afrin is their first priority and they are striving to bring its people back.

A member of the party’s general council and the Co-chair of the party’s organization office, Abdul Karim Sarukhan, talked about the organizational situation and then allowed the audience to evaluate their activities and make proposals that would develop their struggle.
