Abdullah Öcalan and other prisoners on Imralı have met their families today, ANF reported.
Families of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and other prisoners in Imralı Island Prison; Hamili Yıldırım, Ömer Hayri Konar and Veysi Aktaş, have been allowed access to the island prison today on occasion of Eid al-Adha today.
Asrın Law Office announced on Twitter that; “Our clients on Imralı Island, Mr. Abdullah Öcalan, Mr. Ömer Hayri Konar, Mr. Hamili Yıldırım and Mr. Veysi Aktaş have had a meeting with their family members today.”
The statement did not include any other detail.
Asrın Law Office announced on August 7 that lawyers had met Abdullah Öcalan on August 7. During the mentioned meeting, Öcalan said the following; “I am trying to open a space for the Kurds. Let’s solve the Kurdish question. I can eliminate the matter and possibility of conflict within a week. I am ready for a solution, I trust myself. But the state, as well as the mind behind it, must do the necessary, too.”
