Kurds and Arab Strategy Forum, which explores world future in 2017

ROJAVAUnder the auspices and guidance of His Highness “Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktom”, Vice President of UAE, Prime Minister of the state and Ruler of Dubai, after the launching of the Arab Strategy Forum on 14th of this December in Dubai to talk about both the world and the Arab world politically and economically, and analyze the challenges and opportunities that will face the world’s economic and political fields in 2017.

First of all, there is a session offered by each of(David Cameron), the Britain’s former prime minister and (Leon Paneta), the former Director of the CIA and former Minister of the US Defense Secretary, talk about the situation of the world politically in the next year, where they will focus on the political challenges that will face the world in the year next in addition to the expectations to be taken by various countries in the face of these challenges. The forum hosts both (Nabil Fehmy ) Egypt’s former foreign minister and Professor (Ghassan Salama), political thinker, talking about the situation of the Arab world politically during the year 2017. They will explain the political situation in the Arab world with a focus on terrorism and political confrontations in the region, highlighting the most expectations the orientations of countries in the region about that. (Muhannad al-Khatib) from the “Sky News Arabia” channel is the moderator.

The forum also highlights the regional economic expectations in 2017, which produced by (Natalia Tamerisa) from the International Monetary Fund, where the session will focus on the economic orientations of the various world countries, besides the difficulties they may face in achieving the target growth.

In addition, Forum offers two sessions to explore the situation of both the world and the Arab world economically in 2017 through a review of the most important economic orientations and their implications, with the participation of (Dr. Mohammed Al-Arian), head of global development council of US President “Barack Obama”. In the first two sessions will talk about global economic orientations and expectations of economic scenarios of the states. (Manius Krani) from Business Bloomberg Channel is the moderator.

In the next session, the Forum will host “Georges Qarem”, Lebanese former Minister of Finance and “Dr. Mamdoh Salame”, global oil expert to talk about the expected economic situation in the Arab world.

During the forum “Ian Bremmer” president of Euro Asia Group specialized in political studies and consultation will produce a report “the situation of the World 2017”, which includes the entire political and economic expectation Arab and international which set by the group, including the various dimensions of each of these expectations, in addition to the impact of the global expectation on the Middle East in general and the Arab world in particular.

National Defence College provides a session exploring the impact of the election of “Trump” on the Middle East in 2017 and how the region treat the with the new situation, which actually begins in January.

According to the report, “situation of the World 2017” in the Eighth Arab Strategy Forum in Dubai, regarding Syria and Middle East in the fight against terrorism  representative by “Daesh” and other factions following:

The international community still lacks of the presence of true partners to help in the face of the organization “Daesh” in Syria. AlthoughAl- Assad regime has the large numbers of non-radical Arab forces, but that dealing with the Syrian regime remains politically toxic. Syrian Democratic Forces, by the Kurdish leadership is an appropriate choice in political terms, but its expansion into Arab areas could create tensions in eastern Syria. Although, the rebel groups supported by Turkey is an appropriate choice to be on the border, but they are very weak or strong extremism, which prevents them to participate in the battle of Al-Raqa.
