Continuing to the campaign of repression and arrests, which reached a lot of journalists, reporters, heads of newspapers and editors, after the American report about protection of journalists in which Turkey was in the top of the countries list of arrests them. Turkey government has arrested the journalist “Hosni Mahali” under the pretext of insulting senior officials in the state.
Turkish authorities arrested the journalist “Hosni Mahali” under the pretext of insulting senior officials in the state, in Istanbul city on Tuesday, 13th of December 2016.
Dogan, Turkish news agency said ” General Attorney in Istanbul ordered the arrest of the journalist “Hosni Mahali” from his house, under pretext of published writings through Twitter, insulting the senior officials in the state”.
The agency added “that security agents have checked his house in (Al-Watan) neighborhood in Istanbul, capturing the electronic devices to detect”.
Note: “Hosni Mahali” has been taken to the Security Division, and the investigation is still going on up to now.
