It is important that there be coordinated political efforts to avoid all that would fuel differences on the Kurdish arena in particular and in the region in general and to preserve the unity of the Kurdish ranks in the current critical period so that the Kurdish people can freely determine their fate and consider their political options and practice them away from the climate of the tensions created and fueled by some differences or some of the parties, then we can only meet the demands and hopes of the Kurdish masses, which always emphasize the importance of dialogue.
Therefore, we in the Democratic Union Party (PYD)always emphasize the communication with the various Kurdish parties and listen to their views and proposals on the political and security situation in the region and express our solidarity with everyone in the interests of our people, and we are always keen to identify the views of the parties on the role hoped to contribute to any political process and discussion. We are also keen to extend the bridges of cooperation with all parties on new bases away from the previous contradictions and the resulting tensions and differences in relations.
And the choice of the project of Democratic Autonomous Administration dictated by the political necessity, the project in its current structure represents to a large extent the main forces active in the arena of diversity and multiplicity of political, partisan and sectarian, the administration includes personalities and parties of great importance and struggle in the Kurdish arena and Syria, and there was no better alternative for this formula under the difficult circumstances, the reality of terrorism, the contradictions and the differences that have been planted by successive regional regimes among the components.
The regions of northern and eastern Syria under the umbrella of this administration are today living in a unique situation of freedom, democracy and full transparency in the practicing of all forms of democracy. It can be expressed through the existence of a wide variety of parties, associations, organizations, and newspapers expressing the different trends and political and social currents. Today, our brother Kurds and the living people are required to embrace this situation and stand by the components of our people to overcome the conditions of the difficult stage fraught with dangers and serious challenges at various economic and political levels and social development.
It is necessary to have a framework that organizes cooperation and promotes dialogue and an atmosphere of rapprochement between all parties to reach a national Kurdish conference that meets the aspirations and hopes of our people and dispels fears of scenarios and schemes that threaten the future of the region. At a time when the region has become an arena for settling accounts and external interventions and regional and international conflicts.
Our Kurdish people, along with the peoples and components of the region, are now at a crossroads, either continuing resistance and thus the success of this democratic experiment, or the retreat that threatens the future of all components.
In conclusion, the peoples of the region who chose their path will not accept to return to previous regimes at all costs. All agreed on the need to continue the resistance in order to ensure the success of the democratic experiment and the achievement of national unity and work to accommodate various segments of society under its umbrella.
