In the context of political changes and rapid developments of the events on the Syrian regional and international arena, and in the intra-political contradictions between the conflict parties and the solution parties and the advocates of dialogue on the one hand and the foundations of a democratic political solution, which includes all the Syrian parties as a basic rule and real exit to settle and resolve this crisis, which has cost the Syrians dearly over the past years, on the other hand, and about the rear events and activities by the Democratic Union Party’s organizational and political level, as well as the vision of the party in the thesis contract Kurdistani national conference of all the Kurdish parties, these questions and other questions we put forward in the Democratic Union newspaper in an open dialogue with co-president of the Democratic Union Party Asia Abdullah.
Our first question: respect to political developments, the consensus and Convergences and interactions between all internal and external parties involved in the Syrian crisis, talk about holding a conference in the capital of Kazakhstan (Astana) under the auspices of Turkish -Russia to certain destinations have their agendas and their own vision for a solution in Syria, you are as a political party in Syria, how do you assess these developments, how do you see it?
We have to be vigilant at this sensitive stage, some trying to export the failure of political, diplomatic and military approach, the internal and external level, parties such as the Turkish regime is trying to pick up some of the related groups that serve the colonial agenda in the region and in general Syria in particular, especially after what happened in Aleppo, approaches of this type are necessary to understand the reality and the nature of current events, especially those related to the Turkish regime that has failed to impose its policy on the region.
On the political level and in light of the current stage in the region as a whole and what is going on today of talks and developments on the political and field level in Syria, including Roj Ava, we have sought and have worked since the first day since the start of the revolution in Roj Ava to employ all the activities and events in the democratic transformation service in Syria, and the need to search for ways and means that will enable us to reach to build a better model for the coexistence of peoples of the fraternal coexistence principle within the framework of a pluralistic democratic system dominated by equality and social justice, so it was much of the responsibility falls on our shoulders , as chose this approach and this logic, philosophical and emotional for the sake of the salvation of our people, with all its components. We are all aware that the regimes in the region adopted a method of unilateral power, which worked to the exclusion of all components and stripped people of the value and robbed their will to become a follower and docile the dominance of authoritarian and individual and selfishness, which has worked to suppress all who stand in general might of his authority. And the Kurdish people was the most exposed to this machine fascist nationalism authoritarian, so we had to choose the path of resistance and defense of our identity, our culture ,our land and our people, also we have thousands of martyrs for the sake of it, so we can`t be party to the project not be in the will of our people.
Under the pressure of some of the regional parties, led by the regime in Turkey will hold Astana conference, this conference and just by looking at the distribution of roles between the conflicting parties to discern what it will result in a mechanism. The attempt to formalize a representative for some Parties associated externally, especially those in harmony with the policy and the agendas of the Turkish regime and its colonial, and put part of the solution, if not representing the whole solution as planned by Turkey and some of the hostile policy of the Syrian people, who have suffered a lot due to regional powers such policies, I`m add to that the presence of the parties and democratic forces meant to refute these conspiratorial schemes, so we have to know we as agents of a democratic Syria that what Turkey and some parties that like-minded trying to do is blow up the aspirations and hopes of the Syrian people who came out to demand democracy, justice and equality, and will not serve the solution in Syria and the region, but does not prolong the life of the crisis and suffering.
We have our position on everything that happens to us and our communication with the parties and democratic forces on the international level inside Syria and abroad, we do not count on such meetings that do not reflect only themselves and their own agendas and do not serve the solution in any way.
Therefore, any formula for a solution is not compatible with the aspirations of our people, all the components and is in it, and have the level of our people from giving the victims and martyrs during the revolution for the sake of freedom and resistance against terrorist forces, imposed by any international party or regional, will not succeed.
On the basis of moral and political principles, and we as political powers and as party , in accordance with the process vision to resolve , over more than four years, and through the partnership and alliance in which the Syrian Democratic Forces met to ask for a project of the Federal Democratic of northern Syria, we will continue our work and our struggle and at all levels, so be as much as the historical tasks entrusted to us as a revolutionary.
The second ask : related to the unity of the Kurdish grade, in terms of importance in light of the risks and challenges of the Kurdish people, especially those of trying some of the parties and terrorist organizations, refuted all the gains achieved by the Kurdish people through its resistance throughout the historical stages, the question here is related to see you about this proposal?
At first we be with any appeal from any party whatsoever, be the foundation which is based on the interest of our people, and worthy of the sacrifices of our people, and this strategy is the foundation of our party, and we believe in this message and the call of the Kurdish liberation movement.
Kurdish people who are struggling and struggling over its history understands and appreciates the importance of the current stage and the fact that require steps towards rapprochement, togetherness and solidarity in any form or format in line with the requirements of the historical stage, and today what I referred to is that Kurdestani held conference paints a Kurdistan Democracy strategy is historical necessity and not a topical issue only, and a prerequisite to preservation and maintenance of our people’s revolution for freedom and democracy ,are serve as the basic premise for the construction of a consensual participatory strategy among all Kurdish parties, so this requirement and thrust are responsibility and the duty of all Kurdish parties as parties , organizations and cultural institutions. We as a political party consider this duty to be an essential part of our strategy and our policy and our struggle, also we worked for that and we will take whatever happened and it is our responsibility of this fundamental issue for us, so along with the struggle that we are making for the sake of the democratic political project in Syria in general, we are working with the same amount to unite the Kurdish at all levels, that is required, so all our relations and meetings wherever they will be according to the strategy that serves our people.
I`m stress that we are ready in practice and not just theory, and wherever have to hold this conference can afford and insure all the duties that had on us as a party in order to accomplish this conference and its success in and out a compromise participatory formula meet the requirements of the stage and achieve the hopes of our people.
