The Peace Party congratulates the joint leadership of our party

A delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party visited. Our party, the Democratic Union Party (PYD), blessed the party by holding its eighth conference and electing Aisha Hasso and Anwar Muslim as the party’s joint chairmanship.

The delegation was received at the party’s general center in Qamishlo, by the party’s president, Aisha Hasso and Anwar Muslim, and members of the executive body, Shahouz Hassan and Khalil Othman.

The visiting delegation included: “Talal Muhammad, the joint head of the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party, Suleiman Ali and Hani Sheikhi, members of the executive body, Muhammad Amin Hassan, Shleir Hazni, Najat Rimu, and Kamiran Mirza, members of public relations in the party.”

During his visit, the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party congratulated our party on holding its eighth conference held under the slogan <With the Democratic Union, we expel the occupation, develop self-management and build a democratic Syria> on a daily basis (24-25 February 2020) at the Aram Decran Center for Culture and Art in the town of Rumailan in the Qamishlo district In the territory of the island.

During the visit, the two parties discussed the latest political and field developments in Syria in general and northern Syria in particular, especially the file in the Idlib region, which is currently witnessing a major escalation between the regime forces and Russia on the one hand, and the opposition factions and Turkey on the other.

The two parties also stressed the importance of a political solution to the Syrian crisis, stressing that the military option brought nothing but destruction to the country, stressing the need for dialogue to be taken as a way to resolve the Syrian crisis and its details.

The two sides also stressed the importance of the unity of the Kurdish class in this stage in the self-administration areas in northeastern Syria, and the need to stand with the SDF in its battle for liberation, and work intensively politically and diplomatically in a way that contributes to the development and support of democratic self-management.
