As part of its series of visits to parties and political forces in Başûr Kurdistan, a delegation of the parties of Rojava visited the Kurdistan Free Life Party(PJAK).
The delegation met in the areas of defense with the co-chairs of the party, Seyamand Maeini and Zilan Vajin, along with the presence of members of the leadership of the party, and discussed the overall issues of Kurdistan and the requirements of the stage experienced by the Kurds.
“The PJAK is one of the important parties that have expressed moral support for Rojava Revolution,” said the head of the Kurdish Democratic Party of Syria, Jamal Sheikh Baqi, told Rojnews, adding “We are very pleased with this meeting, which was characterized by mutual understanding and positive relations with them.”
He added that the impact of the Turkish occupation on Afrin and the areas of southern Kurdistan was discussed. The meeting also highlighted the military victories achieved by the Rojava Revolution and the need to translate it into a political victory for all Kurdistan and the region.
As all the meetings held by the delegation during the past week, he stressed the importance of adopting the step of uniting the Kurdish positions and ranks at this stage, which he described as “important”.
In turn, the co-chair of PJAK, Zilan Vajin, stressed the importance of this step by the delegation of Rojava, expressing support for the delegation’s objectives of the visit.
“The Kurds are going through a sensitive phase that requires unity of ranks to confront the occupying forces that are intensifying their attacks on Kurdistan,” Vajin said.
