PYD Receives Yekiti Party in Serekaniye

PYD on Wednesday, received a delegation of the Kurdish Unity Party in Syria (Yekiti) to talk about the political situation and recent developments, the safe area and how to confront the Turkish threats.

The delegation included the Secretary of the Kurdish Unity Party in Syria (Muhyiddin Sheikh Ali) and some of the party’s administrators in Serekaniye. The delegation was received by the Co-Chair of Public Relations of the Democratic Union Party in Al-Hasakah Canton Joan Esso, the Co-Chair of the Public Relations in al-Jazeera Region, Khalil Osman, in addition to the party’s administration in Serekaniye District.

The meeting focused on the political situation and the latest developments in the region, most notably the protection of the border and the “safe zone.”

The two parties stressed the need to protect the region from all attacks, and discussed on how to address the Turkish threats, which is targeting the region to destabilize it and achieve economic and political goals.
