PYD in Serê Kaniyê visited the Yazidi House, congratulated them on the Red Wednesday

In order to congratulate the Yazidi Kurds on the occasion of the Red Wednesday, a delegation from the Democratic Union Party(PYD) in Serê Kaniyê district visited the Yazidi House there.

Ali Sheikho, the leader of the Yazidi House, welcomed the visiting delegation. For his part, Khalil Othman, the administrative of the Democratic Union Party, congratulated the Yazidis on the Red Wednesday, he also congratulated the leader Ocalan on this occasion, pointing to the achievements of the peoples’ fraternity which gathered all the components together.

Othman stressed that the enemy cannot undermine the peoples’ will, especially the will of the Yazidi people.

On the same context, Joan Esso, the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party’s relations committee in al-Hasakah, told PYDROJAVA site: “Our visit to the Yazidi House is to congratulate our Yazidi people on the Red Wednesday and we hope this occasion will be good for everyone away from hatred.

He added, “We know that our Yazidi people were subjected to many massacres, the latest of which was in Shengal. The aim of these massacres is to undermine the will of our people, especially the Yazidi people.”

Joan Esso stressed that the policies of the enemy failed as a result of the support of other religions and peoples to each other.

Esso concluded, “our Yazidis are a people who love the culture of tolerance and this is evidenced by their long history. Our visit today is our insistence on coexistence, and on behalf of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) we congratulate the Red Wednesday.”
