Statement to Public Opinion

After the elimination of ISIS on the ground by the SDF in Baghouz, on March 23 this year with the support of the Global Coalition Against Terrorism, the stage showed several challenges at various levels, including the complete elimination of ISIS fascism, and the ongoing Turkish threats to Syria and the region, mainly against the Kurdish people in general and the policy of stubbornness practiced by authoritarian regimes headed by the fascist government in Turkey and its determination to move forward on the policies of extermination and denial of the right of the Kurds and the right of their just cause, besides, it occupies part of the Syrian territory, especially its practices in Afrin, where it practices a policy of demographic change in front of the eyes of the whole world, and other challenges related to the development of living conditions in the areas of Autonomous Administration, as well as the challenge of resolving the Syrian crisis according to its political course persists in all its dimensions and implications. Besides, it is necessary to develop a regional, and international solution for the ISIS fighters and their families, estimated at 70,000, from nearly 60 nationalities.

PYD Executive Body believes that these challenges require different forces, political parties and different groups of people to be responsible and take a serious stand against them to preserve the gains of the Autonomous Administration of the north and east of Syria as the model of this administration became the best solution to the Syrian crisis in its ninth year. We affirm that the first steps necessary to safeguard this gain are to take realistic steps from various parties, whether within or outside the Autonomous Administration, and to strive first to arrange things among the Kurdish parties in Syria in order to resolve differences constructively, in this regard, we see that some of the statements issued by some whether Syrian or Kurdish express before the narrow-minded thinking and put the partisan interests ahead of national public interest. It also comes within the framework of the search for authoritarian regimes and strives with all its means and policies to create conflicts that are not feasible nationally and at the same time feasible for these systems do not believe in the justice of the democratic and Kurdish issues in Syria and the rest of the parts. We also call on our Kurdish people in Syria and the other components with whom we share the bonds of coexistence and unity of destiny to do whatever is necessary to preserve the gains achieved and prevent every attempt that aims to target the Autonomous Administration, our security and our peace.
