Condolences Letter

Condolences Letter
With great regret we have received the news of the death of Dr. David Graeber (Born in New York, February 12, 1961 – passed away in Venice, September 2, 2020). The humanity has lost an important human thinker and anthropologist and one of the most revolutionary intellectual of our times.
The loss for us was much greater because our people lost a loyal friend, who put all his energy and knowledge for the good of our people and the Autonomous Administration of northern and eastern Syria. Graeber visited Rojava regions / North and East Syria several times and learned a lot about the democratic experience and brotherhood of peoples enjoyed by all components in our regions.
He was an American anthropologist and anarchist activist. His colleague, Maurice Bloch, described him as the best theorist in anthropology in the world. He obtained a Ph.D. in anthropology. He has written many books that have enriched the world library and human thought.
We, in the Autonomous Administration of northern and eastern Syria, in our name and in the name of our people, we offer humanity, the United States of America and the family of the deceased our deepest condolences on the death of Dr. David Graeber.
Peace to his soul and all condolences to his family, friends, and his loved ones.
The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria
