PYD’s Youth held meeting in Berlin
Under the slogan “Youth are the Future”, the youth of the Democratic Union Party (PYD)held a meeting on Sunday 2-6-2019 in Berlin.
The meeting began with holding a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs’ souls. Then, the comrade Leman Mohammed, the party official in the city, delivered a speech welcoming the audience and explaining the agenda of the meeting.
In addition, the comrade Deham Ibrahim delivered a speech on behalf of the Democratic Union Party, which dealt with a comprehensive reading of the political situation in the region in general and Rojava in particular and the need for the Kurdish community in the diaspora to face the challenges and threats facing Rojava and the need to escalate peaceful activities in Europe in the next stage which will be on Afrin.
Then, the comrade Mahmoud Sabri, the leader of the Youth Organization of the Democratic Union Party, pointed out to the difficulties and dangers faced by the youth and the importance of the organization in preventing them from dissolving in the European society and not to drift behind the temptations. In turn, Shevan Sabri, the official of PYD’s Youth Organization talked about the organizational situation and the need to develop a new structure for work and development.
In conclusion, the members were elected and questions and discussions opened before the audience. The meeting ended by answering the questions and inquiries and drawing up a plan of action for the next stage, which was on Afrin liberation.
