Kobani Canton’s Council organized a demonstration to denounce the Turkish occupation in Afrin, the displacement of indigenous people and the settlement of mercenary families, ANHA reported.
Residents, along with members of civic institutions, flocked to the women’s arena, holding the flags of Kongra Star, the flags of the Martyrs’ Families Council, as well as banners reading “No to the Turkish occupation.”
The demonstrators chanted slogans “No to the Turkish occupation”, “We are with you Afrin.”
