Rohat Mulla Khalil, the member of the PYD’s General Council said that founding our party was in a stage that needs root changes according to the strategies of the Syrian arena, where founding the party was a turning point toward a new strategy which is “a democratic Syria” and was a new step to meet the stage demands to reach the freedom and archive the democracy for our Kurdish people.
She said that our party suffered many obstacles and difficulties since its foundation in addition to the plots waged against the party to hinder its political struggle between the society components which resulted in targeting the leader of the party and many of them martyred as the martyrs” Shilan, Zakeroya, Bavi Judi, Mamosta Othman, Jamil, Fouad, and Jewan.”
This came in coordination and corporation with the Syrian and regional intelligence services, to prevent the party from advancing and from spreading among the society in all its components according to the requirement of the stage in thwarting the plots waged against the party to destroy the party’s will and end its role in the Syrian arena.
Rohat Mulla Khalil concluded her speech by stressing that although the plots waged against the party ideology to thwart its project and its program, this party with all its members, leaders and its supporters can complete its way to the political will and build a democratic society.
