“The ECHR hearing of HDP former Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş will be held today at ECHR Grand Chamber. Attorneys of Demirtaş said the defense will be made today and the decision will be announced later,” MP Agency reported.
The Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) discusses the application of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) former Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş behind bars since November 4, 2019.
The attorneys of Selahattin Demirtaş Prof. Dr. Başak Çalı, Dr. Kerem Altıparmak, Mahsuni Karaman, Benan Molu, Ramazan Demir and Aygül Demirtaş are representing him today.
His attorneys have started presenting their statements of defense.
